I know how hard it can be to make healthy changes in your life.

Over 35 years experience helping people live healthier in Erie, PA.
I worked as a family physician in Erie, PA for 35 years, helping people make healthy changes in their lives. For over five years as a health coach, I rolled up my sleeves alongside my clients in between their doctor appointments to help overcome their unique obstacles, form healthy habits, and achieve their health goals. We can accomplish this together!

Kevin Kuric
(“Dr. K”)
My health coaching techniques and skills come from over 35 years of delivering comprehensive, holistic healthcare as a family physician with an emphasis on prevention.
My certification from the National Society of Health Coaches (NSHC) has equipped me with the tools needed to help you safely succeed in accomplishing your health goals.
“I feel so grateful for Dr. Kuric — he was my primary care physician for many years and now as my health coach, he continues to advocate for me and coordinate different aspects of my healthcare so that nothing is missed. He is a compassionate, trustworthy, and holistic physician. I feel I can ask him any question — he takes the time to listen, clarify, explain, and connect the dots so that I get the best care possible.”

Switching from physician to health coach
As a family physician for over 35 years, I worked together with specialists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, therapists, nutritionists, nurses, medical assistants, and office assistants to help my patients experience better health in the social context of his/her life.
This “team approach” for delivering healthcare to my patients was so important to me.
What I often found missing from this team was a health coach who partnered with the patient for regular, ongoing support between our scheduled appointments, as the patient “lived out” mutually agreed upon advice for healthier living. This coach’s communication and feedback to me between visits would have been so enlightening, and so very welcomed!
Due to constraints within today’s healthcare system, I could not entirely fulfill this important role, and it bothered me greatly.
So in 2020, I became a certified physician health coach so I could fill this gap between what your doctor advises and how you actually accomplish it. Through these past five years as a health coach, I have succeeded in helping my clients achieve their health goals and improve their quality of life. They’ve learned techniques to be better advocates for themselves and those they hold dear. All this has helped them navigate a complex, daunting healthcare system in a more purposeful, efficient manner.
I look forward to helping you too!
